Great experience with my columns. The made special arrangements to deliver them to my house which has a long curvy driveway that box trucks can’t use. Shipment arrived well packaged and undamaged. The quality of the materials was great. I installed all five after cutting height to fit. This is a big improvement over the previous rotting wood columns which had to be periodically replaced. The person I interfaced with at American Porch was competent and courteous. She made sure every little detail was addressed. Thanks for such a joyful experience.

American Porch was great to work with on the purchase of the rails for this 200 year old house I restored. The addition of the rail brought out the classic charm of the house. American Porch was quick on helping me with questions for the orders and delivery was as promised. I will order from them again on my next project.

My “American Porch” lamp post was just as described. It wasn’t cheap but nothing good is! The post seems to be a very strong durable synthetic material post. It painted well and Amber was super helpful on the phone.

Love what this company is doing. I had the opportunity to visit their shop while traveling for business in Montana. Legitimate small, family business with real, talented, thoughtful people working there.

As for the product, when we moved into our house it had this awful PVC and metal railing that looked and felt cheap. I am so tired of all the products out there that promise you the same quality of product that American Porch provides and just do not deliver. The plastic and composite stuff may install faster, be cheaper and may not technically rot, but it is trash and it looks it. It weathers like crap and in 5-10 years you are back where you started.

I am handy, but by no means a professional contractor and install was quite straightforward. Their customer service people are actually their own employees, with offices right next to the shop floor and, unprompted, they called and emailed me several times after I ordered to keep me in the loop about delivery.

People with reasonable expectations will be very happy with American Porch’s products and customer service – 5 stars for sure.
