This column flashing is designed to be used on our Tuscan Column Capitals with either the Round Tapered Fiberglass Polymer (FRP) Columns, or the Square Non-Tapered Fiberglass Polymer Columns. It is used when the top of your column is exposed, such as when it holds up a narrow beam. Copper flashing is known for it’s beauty and weather resistance. Aluminum flashing is corrosion resistant and cost effective. Either will keep water and debris from entering the top of your column.
Sized 3/4″ wider than our Tuscan Capital abacus (top square), this product is simple and easy to install. Simply crimp the edges of the flashing over the sides of the column cap and secure with construction adhesive. This material is 30 gauge, or .011″ thick.
Copper column flashing for 16″ columns and larger will have a seam. Aluminum column flashing for 18″ columns and larger will have a seam.
