Thanks for the e-mail.  The spindles have arrived and look great.  My dad who is also a carpenter  is helping rebuild the front porch hurt his back and I am waiting for him to recover.  I would be glad to send you pictures of the finished project and the process.  Just so you know my Dad was very impressed with the quality of the spindles.

it all went well. On time and good condition.  The railing wood smelled interesting when it gets cut.
